The Sturgis Falls Celebration needed to attract people outside of Black Hawk County to the annual celebration.

Solution

In the weeks preceding the Sturgis Falls Celebration, a mix of digital mediums including Facebook, Email, and Snapchat were used with goals to: generate page likes, encourage engagement with page content, and attract attendees from outside Black Hawk County.

Facebook

Due to the increased engagement by users and the paid advertising, the Sturgis Falls Facebook page saw a significant increase in organic and paid likes.

Six Snapchat filters were created that could be used at specific times and key locations during Sturgis Falls Weekend. Despite limited promotion, the filters received over 14,000 impressions at CPM of $5.
